Sports Stories You May Have Missed

Any Penn State fans who enjoy a good beer should try the new Paterno Legacy Series of beers. Paterno’s son Jay Paterno,  joined forces recently with Latrobe City Brewing Company to create this new brew. The beer is an American lager and the cans will feature the late Joe Paterno’s picture and his accomplishments. Of course the Paterno name carries negative memories to some people so Sue Paterno (Joes wife) requested that a portion of the proceeds go to charities the family supports, including the Special Olympics and preventing child sexual abuse.
ESPN the Body Issue is once again showing off some of the sexiest athletes of the year. This year Kevin Love is getting naked. The Cleveland Cavaliers power forward will be among 24 athletes featured in ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue, which will be online July 6 and on newsstands July 10. If you interested in looking at nude athletes with incredible bodies this year issue will feature Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper, DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Tyler Seguin of the Dallas Stars, WNBA All-Star Brittney Griner, USA women’s soccer star Ali Krieger, and Olympians Aly Raisman and Natalie Coughlin. Remember last year when Prince Fielder was in the magazine? I guess not everyone has a stellar bod.
Gronk is coming out with new book! If you ever wondered what made this man tick, we can now read about it in “It’s Good to Be Gronk.” The New England Patriots tight end penned his memoir with agent Jason Rosenhaus, and it’s set to hit shelves on July 14.
Some of his stories include bachelorette parties and frat-house fights, but his more honest opinions  show that deep down, he knows exactly what he’s doing. Gronk is only 23 years old and besides all the ridicuiolus parties he actaully does talk about being a healthy, honest and accomplished football player.
