Things to Do in Tampa Bay June 15-21

There’s a lot to do this week in Tampa Bay so we have found some of the best events for you to attend.

 

Thursday night is Flicks and Food Trucks hosted by Tampa Bay Markets.  This event is located in Channelside and host over 15 gourmet food trucks and features a classic movie the third Thursday of every month.  There’s resturants and bars in the area and best of all it’s free! 

 

Friday night at Amalie Arena Romeo Santos will be in concert. This Latin superstar and “king of bachata” has collaborated with big hip hop names like Usher, Drake and Lil Wayne. Ticket’s range from $21-$165.

 

Saturday at Shephard’s Beach Resort at 619 S Gulfview Blvd, Clearwater will have Gainesville rockers Sister Hazel in concert. This concert as a $15 general admission ticket. Click here for ticket information.

 

The Tampa Theatre on Franklin St in downtown Tampa will host Beer Fest Saturday! This year’s fundraiser is themed “O Brewer, Where Art Thou?” and will feature local beer samplings, food from local restaurants, live music and more! Tickets range from $45-$70

 

The Last Comic Standing winner, Alonzo Bodden, will perform this weekend at Side Splitters Comedy Club at 12938 N Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa. He has multiple shows over the weekend and tickets range from $10-$12.

 

Dinosaurs ruled the box office this weekend as “Jurassic World” shattered the 2015 box office records,  “The Avengers” is now second, which took in $207.4 million in 2012.

 

If your into beach volleyball you have to get over to St. Pete for fun day in the sun. The beach party atmosphere includes music, food and interactive activities. Olympians Kerri Walsh-Jennings, April Ross, Phil Dalhausser and Sean Rosenthal headline the field. The best thing is it’s a free event and runs all week! Click here for more information on the event.
It was announced this week that Janet Jackson’s Unbreakable World Tour is coming to Tampa with a Sept. 24 date at Amalie Arena.

 

Tickets go on sale starting June 22 on JanetJackson.com. Presale for American Express Card members will be made available this week at 10 a.m. through Friday at 10 p.m.

Tickets for the general public will be available for $46, $76 and $126. It’s an expensive ticket but well worth it!
